This Privacy Policy explains how IPTV Player - Smart Stream (the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App. IPTV Player - Smart Stream is a media player. It does not provide, host, or supply any channels, streams, movies, series, or other content. You bring your own playlist or Xtream account, and the App simply plays what your provider makes available.

• We do not collect, sell, or share personal data with the developer or any third party.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
• Everything you add — playlist URLs, login details, favorites, and viewing progress — is stored only on your device.
• The App has no user accounts and no sign-in to any server operated by us.

Information You Provide

To use the App you may enter:

• Playlist information — an M3U/M3U8 URL, or an Xtream Codes server address, username, and password that you obtained from your own IPTV service provider.
• An optional playlist name you choose to label your source.

This information is used solely on your device to connect to the provider you specified and to display its content. We never receive, transmit, or store this information on our own servers, because we do not operate any.

How This Information Is Stored

• Xtream username and password are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.
• Playlist entries, cached lists (channels, movies, series, and program guide data), favorites, and playback progress are stored in the App’s private storage area on your device.
• All of this data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the playlist or delete the App.

Network Connections

The App makes network requests only to:

• The IPTV provider you configured — to load your playlist, stream content, and (if available) the electronic program guide. Your credentials are sent directly to that provider over the connection you supplied, not to us.
• Image addresses contained in your playlist — channel logos and poster artwork are fetched and cached to display the interface.
• Apple’s public iTunes lookup service — to check whether a newer version of the App is available on the App Store. This request contains only the App’s bundle identifier and no personal data.

How your chosen provider handles your credentials and viewing activity is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, over which we have no control.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address (unless you choose to email us for support), location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or any usage analytics. The App contains no advertising and no third-party tracking.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the content shown depends entirely on the provider you connect, parents and guardians are responsible for the sources they add.

Your Choices

• You can remove any stored playlist and its cached data at any time from within the App’s settings.
• Deleting the App removes all locally stored data, including Keychain credentials associated with the App.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
